I'm pretty sure that Rita Moreno would've danced in this dress in West Side Story if wardrobe had it in their hands. This is an amazing and dramatic dress that will most defintely make a statement when you walk into the room. Ruffles, layers, shelf bust, pleats, inner boning structure- this dress has it all! There is a side metal zipper. The dress is shown with a crinoline underneath that isn't included. Even without one, it is super dramatic! During the lifetime of this dress, there is what looks like a ciggie burn. It's hidden within the pleats so you can't see it when worn. Makes for great history! There is also some minor pulling in the seam. Both are pictured. Other than that, this is one of the most fantastic dresses I've come across in my vintage hunting life! Definitely a one of a kind piece that no on else will have.
