This bright red cotton velveteen 1950s cocktail dress has a little extra holiday sparkle: silver metal and rhinestone button trim, shaped like snowflakes or flowers! The sleeveless, square-neck bodice and the 2 hip pockets are trimmed with folded-over flaps of the same velveteen fabric, each adorned with the rhinestone trim. Vertical darts shape the fitted bust, waist, and hips, and the straight skirt has a kick pleat at the back hem. The lightweight cotton velveteen fabric is unlined. The dress fastens with a side seam metal zipper. In excellent condition, it was probably home sewn, but has no issues to note. This red velveteen early 1950s dress will be prefect for holiday parties!
