1950's Claire Fashions Handbag with Roses

This lovely is Designed in Black with a Beautiful Rose on the front in seed beads, gold trim, and aurora borealis stones in the center of the main rose and two rose buds. The fabric on the outside of the bag is black wool. The frame and handle are black lucite. The inside is lined in satin and has a slide pocket with a small mirror still in the original paper. The bottom features four little gold colored feet. Most likely all the hardware is brass.

This is a large handbag. It will hold any size cell phone and all your other necessaries.

NEAR MINT CONDITION - The condition is almost perfect. The only reason I qualify it as near mint is there are a few very tiny scratches on the lucite frame. Because it is black you can hardly see these without examination. This is a gorgeous example of the Mid Century Handbag and a Perfect One to Add to Your Vintage Clothing Collection!
