50’s Blue Polka Dot Cotton Capris$49.00
These polka dot capris from the 1950s were made in Seattle. Designer Marie Hills of the former women’s clothing manufacturer, Foster-Hochberg: “Seattle isn’t a high-style city. Women here want a skirt that will get them from a muddy driveway to a wiener roast.” The brand is Sail Mates by Foster-Hochberg inc.
These cute capris are stylish and practical. I love the pockets, high waist, button and zip closure in the back and lots of room in the hips! You can wear them to work or sailing as the brand suggest. These came from my elderly neighbor who wore these back in her younger days. They are made of a heavy cotton fabric and the colors still bright. The fabric is great and the zipper still works.
These remind me of the show Happy Days!
