This is a 1950s, grosgrain either 100% silk or silk blend (no tag) wiggle dress. It has a beautiful infinity style accent on the bust, a ribbon waist with tiny bow at the small of the back.

ISSUE: there are two very minute issues with the dress. 1. There has been a repair made under the right sleeve, arm pit area. Looks like the dress had a seam tear and Simone hand stitched it back up. You can’t see it. 2. There are some loose threads on the accent ribbon on the waist band. It’s just a decorative piece and does not harm the integrity of the dress. You should be able to just snip them off.

This measures out to a modern size 10-12.
