Beautiful deep black hand-knit angora bolero shrug sweater. Circa 1950s.

The fluffy angora knit is very soft, plush, and fluffy.

Cropped length with raglan style 3/4 length sleeves, open front, and boxy cut.

The body of this sweater is unlined with no fasteners.

The back of the inside neckline is lined with a wide band of hand-stitched soft black cotton.

I have lightened photo three to show you the details of this sweater. The color is rich in deep black as shown in the other photos.

FABRIC CONTENT: No indication as this hand knit. I have handled many angora sweaters over my years of collecting and selling vintage sweaters and this is most likely 70% to 80% angora.

CONDITION: Excellent ~ No pills, stains, odors, discoloration, fading, rips, holes, tears, or other issues. Gently worn and very well cared for.

Freshly cleaned and ready to wear.

SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Extra Small to smallish Small depending on how you like your fit.
