50’s Black Nylon Chiffon Tiered Half Slip

This is a gorgeous 1950s sheer black nylon chiffon and lace gathered and tiered half slip.

Please take a look at the enlarged version of the pictures to see close-up views of this crinoline.

This gorgeous dream confection made of two layers of sheer black nylon chiffon - each layer has two gathered tiers that are trimmed with scalloped lace at the bottom hemline as pictured.

The gathering in the tiers is very full - the bottom sweep at the hemline is in excess of 224" around.

Elastic waist stretches to fit a variety of waist sizes.

DESIGNER LABEL: Malco Modes of California

CONDITION: Excellent. There are no odors, fading, discoloration, rips, snags, missing threads, or tears. The elastic in the waist is very stretchy and supple with no dryness or loss of stretch.

The only thing is a few scattered tiny pics that fall into the gathers of the slip and are barely noticeable at all.

SIZING: Tagged a vintage size Large. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this could best be worn by size Small to Medium due to the stretch in the elastic.

MEASUREMENTS:

Waist: 23 to 28" - Maximum Stretched Comfortably

Hips: Free

Sweep: 224" Plus - Around Bottom of Skirt

Total Length: 23-1/2" Waist to Hem

Perfect under all your full skirted dresses or skirts.
