Classic 1950s button up day dress with a nipped waist and lightly gathered skirt as pictured.

The fabric is a medium weight black cotton which was difficult to photograph. I've lightened one of the photos to show you details.

Small winged collar, three quarter length sleeves to wear as shown or folded up, and center front placket which buttons from the neckline to a few inches above the bottom of the skirt as pictured.

The bodice features front and back vertical darts and diagonal front darts.

Nipped waist and lightly gathered skirt which falls to the bottom of my calf. I'm 5'4" and this may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height.

The dress is unlined. No pockets

Comes with it's original self-fabric adjustable belt with self-covered buckle.

CONDITION: Excellent. No fading, discoloration, stains, odors, rips, tears, holes or other issues.

Clean and ready to wear.

SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this dress would best fit a modern size XXL to 1X depending on how you like your fit.

For a perfect fit, please compare the measurements of this dress to a dress already in your wardrobe which fits you well.

Please note the dress is clipped to fit my size Medium mannequin and will fall better on the proper sized body.

Beautiful and comfortable day dress. Lovely with bone colored shoes or a red belt and shoes.
