A little sultry, a little sweet -dance the night away in this elegant cocktail dress by Capri Originals...

A classic 1950's fit and flare dress, this example comes with short sleeves, and a full, midi-length skirt. The base is an ivory tone woven silk or rayon fabric, with a shell of black lace featuring jet sequins peppered around the blossoms. The deep, deep v-neckline is trimmed in black velvet, which is then echoed in a lightly ruched velvet waist sash detail. To top it all off, a pair of glittering rhinestone sweater clips bedeck the left side waist (I don't believe these came with the dress, but were perhaps added by the original owner). Left side waist contains a metal zipper closure, armpits/armscye feature gussets and the Capri Originals label may be found at a skirt inseam, as dress is unlined. Overall condition is excellent, with many small repairs throughout the lace, one at center front neckline, and there is a small rust-colored stain only visible from certain angles or when the lace shifts to reveal it.
