Turn heads in this acidic green, brown and black faux furry coat circa early 1960's...
This fun and fantastic coat is made from a heavy weight woven fabric, that features a furry pile and subtle plaid check print in acidic green, brown and black colors. Sick! It has an A-line shape with mock double breasted button closure (I took it upon myself to replace the missing buttons and stagger them out), and 3/4 length sleeves (very popular in late 1950's to early 60's when women wore gloves frequently). I had to remove the lining because it was shattered -plus, then I was able to wash (and brush) it! Now its super soft. I patch-repaired one of the pockets with a scrap of 1950's silk, from an old necktie and reinforced all the button holes. The middle button hole was badly torn, so it now has a sort of dimple in it. Two of the four original buttons (the brown color) were missing, so I added some from around the same era, and staggered them. You will receive the one original button leftover, in the coat pocket. Overall good and very wearable condition, please review photographs for full visual details. Label reads 'April-Maid, tailored in London, W.I.'.
