FABRIC/COLORS: This is one of those sort-of-quiet prints with a lot of impact. It is large scale abstractly floral, using several shades of muted marine blue against a background done in several shades of olive green. The fabric is a silky feeling jersey knit - I believe it's a rayon/synthetic blend, based on a fiber burn test.
TAGS: No tags found within the dress. There is a cardboard tag tied to the belt - see closeup - on which is hand written "Edythe De Grazia, blue & green pattern". Edythe might just as easily be the person the dress was made for as the maker. The back of the belt is stamped "Pennstate Belt Co."
CLOSURES: Long metal zipper down the back. The 2" self-fabric belt has 4 self-fabric buttons as trim, and is adjustable to 3 different settings.
CONDITION: Slight wear to the edges of the decorative self fabric covered shoulder buttons - see closeup. I have repaired a small open seam at the waist. The hem was taken up and let down again at some point before the dress came to me. No other issues noted - no stains, holes, or tears.
