50s/60s Day Dress Brown And White Print$60.00
This quiet little dress will become a favorite in your closet - feminine, flattering, and easy to wear. It is sheath style, but does have a waist seam, as well as a kickpleat for ease on walking. The bodice is fitted with vertical and horizontal darting - short sleeves are kimono style. The straight skirt has several small soft pleats at the waist in front, with darts for fit in back. The neckline and sleeve edges are piped in coordinating brown bias fabric, repeated in the long narrow fabric tie at the waist.

FABRIC/COLORS: The print is sort-of floral, but not immediately identifiable as flowers, which I like. The colorway is also unusual for floral - several shades of brown against a cream background. The medium weight fabric is slubbed - it feels a little silky to the touch, steams easily and drapes beautifully. Fiber burn test is consistent with a blend of cotton, rayon, and/or linen.
