50’s/60’s Blue and White Cashmere Cardigan with Bead Detail

ERA- Late 1950s or early 1960s.

CONDITION- Great vintage condition. Lightly worn 1-2 times if ever and stored w/ care. No holes or strange smells. Beads are astonishingly solid, there is a 1" area on the lefthand sleeve that has some missing beads, but all of the remaining beads are secured. Lining is clean.

MEASUREMENTS- 15" shoulder to shoulder, 38" chest, 32" waist, 20" shoulder to hem (bodice length), 20" sleeve length. No size tags so I am estimating this sweater to be a S/M. Mannequin is a woman's S/M 6/7 and it fits great, for reference.

OTHER INFO- Absolutely jaw dropping beadwork on this soft cashmere beauty! Bodice is lined in silk, sleeves are unlined. Faux Pearl button closures look great (no paint chipping). No tags, but it is definitely Cashmere and was most likely hand beaded in Hong Kong.
