Size Small and in lightweight Summer-ready wear nylon, this vintage Vanity Fair Peignoir nightgown and matching robe set features their traditional A line knee length nightgown and robe. For this set it is a beautiful soft teal blue color. The robe has a fold-down collar and three-quarter length sleeves, plus one hidden side pocket and five cloth-covered front buttons. As can be seen in the photos, the classic floral applique trim is on the yokes.

Both garments have satin-look nylon edging at the neckline yokes, plus the gown has piping around the armholes and satin trim nylon at the hemline.

The nightgown is sleeveless and the shape is one of the Vanity Fair standard ones, with the body of the gown gathered onto the floral applique bodice. In this case the bodice has a V pattern.

For the robe the neckline is also a V-neck, however there is a fold-down collar. The sleeves are to the elbow and there is one hidden side pocket.

Since it is nylon, the laundry instructions show it can be machine washed.

Freshly laundered in the gentle cycle, it will come to your door clean and ready to wear right out of the package. For vintage lingerie, despite the fact it can be tumbled dry, I always recommend hanging it to dry because I feel that helps the fabric have an even longer life.

This set is in Very Good Vintage condition. I do not find any snags in the nylon. All the seams are intact and there are no stains, odors or missing buttons.
