Simply stunning, this sophisticated cream color statement bolero is picture perfect to wear with a prom dress, wedding dress or mother-of-the bride or groom dress. From the 1980's, it is a timeless chic fashion statement.
This bolero is too large for my model, as you can tell in the photos. However on a Size Medium woman, it will show you off to full effect.
Fully lined in solid cream white fabric, there are three layers in this; the interior cream lining, a layer of sheer floral lace and the top layer of wide soutache ribbon braid.
A detail photo of the front shows the lace and faux pearl applique attached at the neckline. Hidden behind that is a top hook and eye for those times you choose to wear this bolero closed.
True to the 1980's when it was made, there are shoulder pads. Those are easily removable if you prefer a more natural shoulder line. Personally, that is what I would do, because there is also 5 inch wide pleated fabric inside the sleeve shoulder seam to add a bit of defined pouffiness there.
The fabric content label was removed by the original owner and the only remaining tag shows that it must be Dry Cleaned.
Freshly cleaned, in Excellent Vintage condition, this event-ready creamy white lace blazer will arrive ready to wear immediately.
There are no stains, odors, holes, or unraveling. All the lace, applique and hook and eye are intact.
