This is a lovely yellow rose printed cotton, from the late 30s to the early 40s, zip-front dressing gown. The gown has a white eyelet lace ruffle trimming the neckline and the cuffs of the sleeves. The sleeves are short and have a slight puff at the top. The bodice is slightly fitted. Loose at the bust and fitted at the waist. The skirt is so full, almost a complete circle, and falls to slightly sweep the floor. The gown zip up the front with a brass zipper. The gown is unlined.

Condition:
The dressing gown is in great condition overall. There is only one small spot to note. There is a small fingertip size repair/patch to some damage on the left underarm. It was done with extra material from the hem and is hard to see due to the location, done with the same fabric. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
