A Collectible Rare Lilli Ann Coat

-in very good condition

-some imperfections, light spot on near hemline, on the front torso, inner section not shown outside, light spot on silk lining, also not shown from outside. few moth nibbles. Imperfections are not shown when worn or have to be looked at closely.

-fit and flare, post World War II New Look Style

-shoulder pads and nipped waist, the classic silhouette of the 40s

-couture balloon sleeves of curly lamb

-the material is light wool and genuine silk lining

-wrap style, the closure includes a small hook and eye, and then tie

-coat can accommodate a larger or smaller size, as hook and eye closure can be moved a few inches or not used altogether

The Lilli Ann label on this was used until about 1946 or 47.

The model in the picture is wearing the same coat as this Lilli Ann Coat. It is the actual coat for sale, and the first photo was the advertisement used to market this coat.
