This dress is so special. It's seen a lot of hard work over the years and whoever made it had a true talent for working with fabric. I love the use of the stripes on the bodice, doubled on top and single on the bottom, and the use of a single horizontal stripe on the waist and cuffs. The triangle detail at the waist! It does have a number of condition issues, most notably areas of foxing throughout, as well as some very thin places and repairs, especially around the waist pleats and the sleeve seams. This dress is wearable but will want ongoing maintenance until it's ready to retire. Has been cleaned and ready to wear, but please see all photographs to assess condition. Belt / accessories not included.
