This is a fabulous vintage 40s womens hospital work shirt.
Medium weight cotton blend white work shirt with Alameda Hospital Auxiliary Volunteer sewn on the left sleeve.
Pleated front and back.
Two back pleats along the sides.
Does up the center front with four metal snaps.

Tagged a size 16. Made to be worn slightly loose. Based on the measurements below this would best fit a loose Medium to Large depending on how you like your fit.

This is in good condition. There is light yellowing to the inside collar and brown marks on the right sleeve cuff (as pictured). There are no other marks, odors, stains, rips, tears, holes, fading, discoloration or other issues.
The buttons are securely sewn on and original to the shirt.
