I met the women who this belonged to over the weekend at her estate sale
Her brother had gotten this for her in 1942 in Japan when he was in the service!

She loved it for many many moons until it just sat in her closet till the day I scooped it up!

It’s amazing it does have some small minor flaws but damn for being as old as it is I would say it’s in great condition

It does seem to have some staining ( darker blue in color) on bottom front and bottom back of jacket or maybe it’s just the west of the silk

One tiny little eye lit closure at the top of neck

No stretch to material

Measurements are approximate and taken flat so please double bust and waist for more accurate sizing
