1940's Vintage Dusty Pink Short Sleeve Midi Dress with Pintuck Detail

Beautiful period piece! Deserves to be worn out swing dancing with some period correct heels, hair, and makeup.

size: Please read carefully: Estimated size XS/S. There is a short zipper under the arm. It is constructed kind of weirdly in that I could not get it onto my mannequin even though the measurements indicated that it should have fit. The problem is that the zipper is too short, making the waist too small to fit through. This may be best for someone handy who can replace that zipper.

materials: No tags, probably polyester. Fabric is mid-weight knit, non-stretch. Not particularly soft.

made in: USA, probably

condition: Please read carefully! This piece clearly spent several decades packed away in a trunk with some mothballs. I washed it carefully in cold water and when wet it smelled heavily of mothballs. After drying, the smell was much less noticeable. There are rips, tears, pulls, blemishes. Very light staining on the skirt towards the side seam.
