1940's vintage small ceramic painted Turkey figurine. It has no makers mark but looks very much like similar Made in Japan pieces. A nice old piece estimated to be from the 1930's or 1940's. Has a feel to it as if it is composition made, not totally ceramic but possibly a paper and ceramic mix. I'm not an expert on this form of ceramics, so am not exactly certain as to its makeup.

It's just a cute little guy that would look darling on a bookcase or as part of your annual Thanksgiving dinner display.
