This is a very rare find in unworn condition. Early to mid 40's Jantzen black ruched satin taffeta like front and full elastic back (smocking) The smocking is in great condition at this time I do not see or feel any drying or cracking. This was well preserved.

Not a hole or stain or sign of wear.

This is a museum quality find.

It is a halter style so some room for fit. The model is a tall but small figure at apx 32 x 26 x 34 and it fits with plenty of wiggle room. The bust can still hold more as well as the full smocking will allow room on hips and waist.

Bust was taken flat back from pit to pit and this will not consider the cupping in front or stretch from smocking and was 13"

Measurement from mid crotch to the top of back of suit was apx 19" and the front from crotch to the top of suit is apx 23"

Waist measured flat back without stretch was apx 12" and hips apx 15:
