Late 1940s / Early 1950s professional construction from the Harryson New York label. This unique topper is styled as a turban hat, done in an ultra fine, flexible natural straw in two shades of dark mocha brown and a lighter natural tone. The hat features an internal rigid band that perches at rear crown of the head. The crown of the hat is open and there is an attached hair comb that slides in at the hairline with decorative woven bows at the front apex.

Condition is listed as excellent, pristine with only the slightest hint of fray at the ends of the straw bows noted entirely for full disclosure. Such a unique hat to add to your true vintage line up.
