Wonderful two piece skirted high waist swimsuit in an abstract tropical print in shades of navy blue and scarlet red on light silver gray as pictured. By Gantner of California, circa 1940s.

Medium weight rayon blend.

Skirted bottom fastens on the left side with 3 clear lucite buttons - including one button on the 1" wide waistband.

Blue rayon jersey knit panty style lining is attached at the waist seam as shown.

Matching halter neck top lined with matching blue rayon jersey knit - no padding or foam. Ties at the back of the neck and the back of the bra with 1" wide double layered bands as pictured.

CONDITION: Very good - no odors, fading, discoloration, yellowing, rips, or tears. The only thing is three very faint yellowish spots on the right front of the skirt near the hemline, which are barely noticeable as they blend into the print.

Very gently worn and well cared for. Freshly cleaned and ready to wear.

Tagged a vintage size 32. I'd say this would best fit a modern size XXS (2XS) extra extra small.

Bust: Approximately 32" - 15" Front Plus Open Back - Measured At Widest Part of Bra Front

Bottom Band: 15-1/2" Plus 13-1/2" left tie and 13-1/2" right tie

8-1/4" Tall: Bottom of Bra to top of cup below strap PLUS two 14-1/8" long straps to tie around the back of the neck
BOTTOM:

High Waist: 22" - button could be moved to add 1"

Outer Skirt Hip: 39"

Bottom of Skirt: 54" around

Inner Panty - Hip: 30 to 34" stretched

Inner Panty - Front Rise: 12-1/4" (below waistband) to center of crotch

Inner Panty - Side Length: 9"

Inner Panty - Leg Opening: 20" Around (includes crotch)
