Vintage 40s Tan with Brown Topstitch Dress
Buttons down with fabric covered buttons and has side metal zipper. Matching cloth belt has a couple worn spots and the buckle is thinning on edges. Small cloth shoulder pads.
Dress appears to be perfect condition until you examine closely. Holding the lower skirt part up to the light I find approx 15 scattered small holes - the largest is 2/8 on an inch in size. Bodice has a pen tip size hole.
No size tag. 36" bust/ 28" waist /37" hips / 40" long / 15. 5" bodice/ 14. 5" shoulders/11" bicep. No hem allowance. Model is 5'1" XS and dress fit well with belt tightened.
No material tag - likely a wool content, feels a bit rough when rubbed between fingers.
