1940s vintage dark navy blue hard chip straw small tilt style hat in a boater style. A New York Creation and Debway labeled hat.
This style hat will work well for a 1900s Edwardian look hat.

This small hat is to be worn slightly tilted to the side and it has an elastic back bad.
It is a hard chipped straw with a small 1 1/2" brim and 3" high crown.
The inside is 20"

A red grosgrain ribbon inner band.

It is plain on the outside but any type of trim could be added if wanted. It may have had trim or a band at one time.

In good wearable condition. All I see is a few areas that aren't as bright to the straw from being in storage all of these years. It is a very dark blue that looks black on the outside, the inside shows the navy color.
