A beautiful matching Qipao (Cheongsam) Top and Pants silk set dating to the 1940s.

The qipao top is fabricated in silk damask

Fully lined in silk and interlined in warm flannel.

Trimmed in silk satin trim in blue and black along the neck, opening, side slit, and sleeves.

Beautiful knotted closures in the shape of a flower and snaps

The bodice is cut with a very dropped shoulder seam

Sleeves fasten at the wrist with 2 snaps

Trousers are fabricated in black silk

They are lined in silk and are also interlinked in a warm flannel

Fasten at the side with a button on the waistband and one at the side placket with an additional snap

Pleat front

Single pocket set into outer hip

Cut with a high rise and a dropped crotch.

The leg opening is trimmed in the same blue and black trim at the top.

Condition: Very good. There is a small area of wear to the edge of the collar. There is one subtle stain on the back, just above the hem, and another in the front chest. (See photos) Clean and ready to wear.
