This item is sold from an excellent, highly rated vintage boutique in Virginia.
Fabricated in silk with a fab forty conversational Georgian-inspired print featuring ladies in gowns and men in justaucorps frock coats with mandolins and I think that’s a cat playing with a ball.
The ground color is ecru and the print outlines are brown with fills in blue, yellow, and violet.
It features a love wide bertha-Esque collar edged with a self-ruffle.
The bodice fastens down center front with textured glass buttons and a snap at the top.
The short sleeves have a non-functional tab with a button tacked in place at the overarm
Likely originally had shoulder pads, but none are present now.
Pleats at the front bodice and skirt release to add fullness to the bust and a slight flare to the skirt
Fastens down side seam with a metal toothed zipper.
4” deep blind hem with hem tape.
Original belt is present (Leslie Faye Original ( size) 14)
All interior seams are pinked
