This is a wonderful saucy 40s nightgown. The gown is made of a soft semi-sheer black rayon that is luxuriously soft. The gown has a deep v neckline and has an inky black lace panel that runs down the whole center and is completely sheer. At the waist is an attached teal blue satin ribbon that cinches the waist in. The gown is simple and is bias cut so it clings to the figure.

Condition:

The gown is overall in good condition with the rayon having faded a little to a really dark navy and you can only tell in some lights. There are also a few pinholes in the hem of the skirt that are hard to see as it is a fuller skirt. There is an added triangle panel between the lace for more volume. The nightgown has been hand laundered and is ready to wear.
