An unusual take on a beret, this is more of what was known as a Renaissance era Poet Muffin Hat or pancake hat. It's neatly "piled" taffeta Moire with a detailed trapunto type quilting. Big Bow in back for extra "chic-ness". From Jane Morgan (the singer/actress). The elastic was broken and tied into a knot, so you may need to replace. Otherwise flawless.
