This wonderful knit sweater is made of 100% wool with intarsia knit reindeer and Christmas tree pattern. Thick ribbed bottom, long sleeves. Crew neck. Great for bringing a little cheer into the doldrums of cold weather. Beautifully made. This is a Kandahar by Bert Charon piece from 1947. From what I can tell, this luxury ski knitwear was sold at Montgomery Ward as well as Vermont and New England ski resorts. I have mended a number of breaks in the wool, mostly you don't notice, but you can see a couple in the ribbing on the front. I'd recommend dry cleaning this piece when you do need to clean it, due to the age of the wool. This brand sold sweaters for both men and women, I believe this is more of a women's fit. Bust measures around 36", good fit for up to about a US size 6.
