I especially love these Barbizon Puffetts, as I love the quality of the quilting. I’ve found ads for the puffet from 1941 through 1955 in a range of designs and love finding them out in the wild.
This one dates to 1947 or 48 as indicated by the attached ads.
They work beautifully as loungewear or as outerwear.
Fabricated in a peachy “petal pink” (as per the ads) rayon satin with a diamond pattern quilting
Color is a close match to Pantone’s Soft Pink
Fully lined
Collarless style
Frog fasteners
Soft shirring along the front and back yoke
3/4 length sleeves
Handkerchief pocket inside
