1940s rare maternity skirt suit, maternity office clothes, maternity evening function.
This stunning pink brown tweedlike suit is by Maternities by James Kassner is in excellent condition.
The jacket has a removable white brown trimmed collar that snaps to the under collar. The full jacket has a half belt in the back and two side half belts. There are two flap front pockets and the buttons are the same fabric as the suit. The back has a kick pleat and the jacket is unlined. The rayon blend or linen blend material does not wrinkle easily and is comfortable and cool to the touch.

The pencil skirt has a large U-shape cut out at its top where the skirt met the waistband and three ties to accommodate a growing bump. There is a kick pleat. It is unlined and in excellent condition.
