Fantastic 1940s brown hat in wool felt, with wonderful quilted flowers around the brim! Back head strap attached. Consumer Protection label attached. From the Mark Twain Hat Shop in Elmira, NY. The owner's name, Edith A. Thompson, is woven into the shop's label! Very good condition. It seems that it is meant to be asymmetrical, as one side is "pinched" in and attached to the crown, but the other side isn't and doesn't look like it ever was. It measures 22. 5" in circumference and stands 4" tall.
