Made of genuine leather, these 3" and 1/4" pumps are authentic to the 1940s. With a simple punched design pattern on the toe box and/or toe cap, and around the "vamp" and "tap line". With the classic '40s era stacked toe box, and curved instep.

These shoes come in a shoe box marked "Nanette Originals", however the faded label inside the shoe does not match. The box is also hand marked "Brown Wedding Shoes". So, I've surmised that these pumps were warn at the original owners wedding way back in the 1940s.

Condition issues: There are a couple of mars to the leather, please see photos for details. The heel caps, as well as soles will need replacing eventually.

These shoes have a makers mark, but they are illegible.
