Vintage 40s Pink Lace Formal Party Dress - 1940s Lace Gown
No size tag. See measurements: 48" long, 15" bodice, 12. 5" across neckline, 33" bust, 26" waist, free hips - please compare these measurements to a dress you own that fits well: 16. 5" across armpit to armpit with material stretched out and 13" across the waist. Model is 5'10" US S/4
Skirt is full circle - circular. Side metal zipper. Lining is acetate. I have washed the dress in my front load washing machine on gentle cycle.
Flaws: The hem is done with a thin mesh strip which is a bit uneven in spots, doesn't lay perfectly smooth. The skirt has odd little gathers, not sure what the seamstress was wanting to achieve with these.
