This is a darling 1940s or 50s fit and flare dress. The fabric is a beautiful soft black cotton. The top stitching in white is adorable! The optional round or v neck makes it unique. The white piece snaps in to make a more modest rounded neck. If you want a v neck option just unsnap the white bib piece.

The dress zips and hooks up the back with a nice metal zipper and hook. The bodice seems like it is a little jacket, but it is all attached with black cloth covered buttons for show.

The only flaw I can see is the white bib has one mark that would not come out with a washing. The good news is when it is snapped in the dress you can't see the mark.
