Sweet novelty straw open crown hat. Brim curls upward with a dark brown velvet hatband and back bow. Front holds a triple mini umbrella style embellishment dotted with little brown velvet bows. Open crown is lined with a matching grosgrain ribbon.

Excellent condition.

Label is C. Crawford Hollidge of Boston which was a women's clothing store in the 20th century. The business was started by Clarence Crawford Hollidge in 1909, as a dry goods store in Milton, Massachusetts just south of Boston. By 1930 he had transformed the store into a high-end women’s apparel and accessories store closing in the late 1960's.
