This is a lovely vintage late 40s 1940s black swimsuit from Kerrybrooke. Made in California.

The fabric is a wonderfully stretchy medium weight spandex in black with decorative white topstitching on the center front as pictured.

Built in bra features an inner layer of the same spandex fabric and vertical boning that encases the bust from top to bottom - there is no padding or molded cups.

Straps adjust with black enameled metal sliders.

Plunging back with a decorative metal zipper painted black to match the fabric.

Two panel front with an elasticized bottom modesty panel over elasticized leg openings as pictured.

There is no waist seam.

The crotch is lined with soft black nylon - the rest of the suit is unlined.

DESIGNER LABEL: Kerrybrooke / Made in California

CONDITION: Very Good - no odors, stains, snags, fading, discoloration, yellowing, rips, tears, loss of stretch or other issues. The elastic in the bottom of the modesty panel and around the leg openings is strong with no loss of stretch at all.

There is slight overall fading and an old repair where the crotch seam is sewn to the back of the suit, which is barely noticeable tt all.

Freshly cleaned and ready to wear.

SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Medium to smallish Large depending on how you like your fit.

Please note this is pinned/clipped to fit my size Small mannequin and will look much better on the proper size body.

Bust: 37-1/4" - Measured along the inside curvature of the bra

Waist: 30" - Relaxed

Hips: 38" - Relaxed - Measured across front leg openings
Length: 25-3/4" - Top of Bra Cup to Center of Crotch

Length: 23-3/8" - Center Front to Center of Crotch

Side Seam Length: 19-1/2"

Leg Openings: 20" Around

Zipper Length: 11"
