Professional construction from the Marion Valle label. This darling hat is styled as a boater sun hat with a medium width brim and medium profile crown. The hat is done in a navy blue, semi-lustrous raffia straw and features a bright orange velvet ribbon trim around the crown and the brim edge, as well as some autumnal flowers and fruit in front. The intended fit is as shown, at the back top crown of the head with tilt placement to your preference.

Condition is listed as good minus, she shows some age but still clearly presents beautifully. The raffia is structurally sound but shows some mussing from years of improper storage. Proper stuffing of the crown and proper storage will encourage the original shape and prevent any further damage. The velvet ribbon shows notes of handling, primarily around the outer brim edge. The wire within that brim edge has just a touch of misshaping at the very rear edge where it is slightly bent to a point, please see photos provided. A touch of age noted to the millinery flowers and fruit, noted for full disclosure. Presentation is still so lovely and unique, this is a beautiful hat for the autumn season.
