This is a gorgeous white rayon stain 40s peignoir robe. The gown has a large draped shawl collar that is trimmed in a delicate floral lace ruffle. It has wide, slightly belled, long sleeves that also have a lace ruffle attached at the cuffs. The robe is a wrap style and ties shut with a belt that has loops on the side and one in the front. The belt is made of the same satin as the robe and has a lace ruffle on each end and. It’s such a fun little detail. The skirt of the robe falls mid-calf to ankle length and is a full skirt that will swish lovely around your legs as you walk.

Condition:
The robe is in great condition overall with only a few small things to note. There are some small scuffs on the robe. The most noticeable is on the bust but does get covered by the shawl collar so it's not noticeable. There is also some slight discoloration in the skirt that is shown in the last photo. It is faint and only really noticeable when looking closely. The dressing gown is still very stunning. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
