This wonderful and primitive vintage pin is a large 2 and three-eighths inches across! He may be a scotty or other terrier breed ...can't be sure. There is a leather cover over the wood base, a leather collar and leather lace trim. A screw secures the dog head to the base, and there is a simple but wide locking clasp. Great for a coat or wide 1940's jacket lapel!

The original eye was too far down the nose, and got lost, so I added a dullish small stone. The original eye hole can be seen. You could try to fill it, but I don't think it detracts that much. Otherwise it is all original. Great item to wear to the Winchester Dog Show! !
