A face for a vanity (but only if you like 1930s make-up techniques). The face says 30s but it's most likely from the 40s Victorian revival period. She looks like a 18th century maiden. Semi-Matte glaze, some metallic gold detail, obviously hand-painted. The painter didn't do a very good job in the back but this just adds to the kitschy-ness! These usually came in sets of two, with either a guy or another lady. 8 1/4" high. No flaws, other than artist's laziness....
