This 1940s Pat Perkins green check cotton dress is sweet with its deep front pockets and tortoise-shell style buttons. While it looks fantastic and is overall in great shape with no stains or seaming issues it does have several darning mends.

When you have the dress on you really do t see them as all of the mends we believe were made as needed by a home seamstress who in the 1940s most likely knew how to get the most and longest wear from her garments.

But we disclose everything here and we’ve taken pics of each mend. Most of them are around 1/4 of and inch or smaller.

There are no stains etc. just the mends.
