Vintage late 1940s wonderful quality wool gabardine skirt suit. The jacket is beautifully tailored with a peter pan collar and bracelet length cuffed sleeves. Bust darts and multiple waist darts. Structured shoulder pads. Nips in at the waist and the hip area has a structural interior to keep the shape. There's a panel sewn around the neckline and extends to the front in tabs that have buttonholes which can either be buttoned in front or left open. The jacket is fully lined. The skirt is straight and has front pleats. Fitted waist and side metal zip. Skirt is unlined.
