40s Vintage Evening Gown/ Party Dress with a Sweet Petal Pleated Bodice🌷

Material: Silk taffeta faille in a gorgeous raspberry red

Details:
Wide straps and a square-cut neckline
Perfectly pleated bodice that tapers toward a fitted waist
Fully lined and boned bodice
Center back metal Talon zipper
Large center box pleat on front of skirt and knife pleats on the back
Very full tea length skirt
Pinked and pressed inner seams

Bust 17.5" underarm to underarm
Waist 14" across
Hip is free
Bodice 15" shoulder to waist
Skirt 32.5" waist to hem

Condition: Excellent overall with minimal signs of wear for age and no damage. There is some evidence that the straps have been reinforced by hand and that the dress may have been taken out near the zipper at some point.

Please note that even on my monitor the color presents more fuchsia than red. Photos were taken in natural light and while the true color does lean pinkish, this is definitely a red gown❤️
