HOMEMADE 1940s white semi-sheer lightweight wrap front robe house coat.

Homemade dressing gown from the 1940s.

It is quite pretty and simple, with definite 40s flare.

Light and airy fabric that is probably some sort of polyester.

Wrap front styling with a snap inside and a hook at the outside of the waist. Matching belt.

Long bodice is a bit blouson.

Shawl collar with shoulder pads and angel wing sleeves.

Flared and gored open front skirt.

Excellent condition. Appears never worn. The stitching isn't terrible but definitely not expert. May be poor choice of fabric. It looks like it may have been difficult to work with as the seams are a bit puckered.
