This dove grey wool felt 1940s halo hat is trimmed with cream and grey curly lamb. It has an inner structure that hugs the back of the head, with a slightly convex, nearly flat crown that frames the face. The crown has a center-front indentation, and is blocked into a crease all the way around. In back, a small felt bow hides a small section of elastic, which allows a bit of leeway with the hat’s fit (see measurements). Designed to sit back on the head as shown, this 1940s hat should look lovely with a “victory roll” type of hairstyle, or with a 40s-style pageboy, like our mannequin head has. The hat is in excellent to mint condition, with no flaws to note. It looks unworn!
