A small structured 1940s true vintage Home Front style off white pillbox shape hat with black veiling and bows. The kind that sits behind the Victory rolls.

It is made of stiffened lace or very fine straw. It has an open weave and resembles lace with tiny little knots.
It is an oval shape and the veiling starts at the front and goes across the back.
Small felt bows adorn the side.
Inside it has a grosgrain band.

One size fits all but 20" around. It is 3" tall.

In very good condition with only the inside band darkened. No holes.

Hint: The split in the band goes in the back.
